What a day!! First my ipod crashes, get that working again after 90 minutes, then my laptop has a blip and I loose my sound driver, got that sorted. Am a bit worried about turning my TV on now!!

None of my e-mails have been getting through, so Cats, thanks for the socks, they're fab, I'm seeing the new year in with them warmimg my feet.

For anyone that may be interested, and if possible, can you let anyone else that might be interested know about this.
The cast of both shows know each other really well, and if Expo last yeart is anything to go by it will be a very humerous experience.

So, another weekend nearly over, and what a weekend it was!!
I am soooo fan girlie about Callum Keith Rennie, there are not words to describe just how nice he is.
Partied hard with Lex, spent time with Annie, met CKR, really, I couldn't ask for much more (other than a few more of you being there obviously).

Methistoryterry and selenay936 at the hall for T's graduation ceremony, which followed an hours wait for our lunch in the bar down the streeet. Sir David Puttnam looked very smart in his chancellor robes, but not as smart as T. Then met up with blue_adagio for the trip to Staly.
Later we were joined byfeather_autant, catspaw_sgjd and their intrepid driver - nicci_mac. Well, night one went exactly as predicted with lots of laughing and Feather, Nicci and I staying up til about 5.30am watching Babylon 5.
Next day we explored the park andblue_adagio decided she was a monkey and climbed trees and has a go on the rope swing, there is a very good video of it, and if you ask Nicci really nicely she may show it you. More B5 ensued.
Sunday was spent in glorious sunshine in Manchester before people had to start leaving, then, quite suddenly, Nicci developed a cold :-(
Still, we made her sit in the pub for a while before it was back to T's for my stuff and time for me to leave.

So I am home after 11 weeks in my uncle's house. (He's been in Thailand and I've been looking after he cats {read feed the cats and generally ignore them}).
His internet access is not the best, and I'm sure no one was interested in reading about how much food I'd fed them etc.
So, what else has happened??historyterry came for a visit, ended up in Kwikfit for a new car battery, bye bye £50.00. Next, got a speeding ticket (apparently if you go more than 5mph over the limit then they won't invite you to attend the speed awareness course - you have to take the points), bye bye £60.00. Next the car started making an odd noise, off to the garage, bye bye £30.00. Today, the windscreen wipers have gone odd - switch them off and the motor keeps going, so back to the garage on Monday.
Oh, woe is me.
How much of a bloody winger do I sound? Ignore it all, I am fine, looking forward to Expo withdescended_sg1 and lexstar29, then off to historyterry's with selenay936, nicci_mac, feather_autant, blue_adagio and catspaw_sgjd for "THE GRADUATION", and no T - I won't be playing Mrs Robinson to your Benjamin.

Here I am, home now and back in work (and what a bloody grind that is).
"Con crud" has landed with a vengence, but who cares, cos I had a blast over the weekend. Poordescended_sg1 was ill, lost her voice and had a fantastic cough, but I think she enjoyed herself. Dispite travelling down and having rooms next to us, I rarely saw Wendy and Gemma, in fact the most time I spend with Wendy was in Tesco!!!
However, met up withlexstar29 and spent the next 2 days laughing, bitching and dancing. I drank more over this weekend than I had in the previous 7 years......I sipped Jonathan Woodward's bottle of lager (god it's horrible stuff but it was difficult to refuse).
Hilight of the weekend though was "Harry Potter and The Mysterious Ticking Noise" which can be found here

So, it's the beginning of a new year (well it's 4 days old but we'll just skim over that) and each time I think, "you know what Saz, this year you will keep in touch with those people who's friendships you value (ie all of you on my flist)" but I never do, so I will apologise in advance for that slight, it doesn't mean anything other than my life is quite boring compared to most of yours, so I don't bother. It also doesn't mean that I am not interested in everything you do, I read it all avidly.
